Mail-In or Drop-Off an Absentee Ballot

The deadline to request an absentee ballot was October 7th. You can check your ballot status online at GoVoteKY.com or call the Jefferson County Clerk’s Elections Center at (502) 574-6100.

Be sure to read all instructions before filling out your mail-in absentee ballot. Remember you must use a pencil or a black pen and that there is more than one location requiring a signature. Use the correct amount of postage (when in doubt, use extra) or stop by one of the Ballot Drop Box locations within Jefferson County.

All absentee ballots must be returned by mail (postmarked on 11/5), or at a drop-box no later than 6 pm on November 5.
